Who we are
hormonalacnetreatment.org is published by Artha Capital, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 97349860, Haarlemmerweg 888, 1014 BL Amsterdam, the Netherlands. We are responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at privacy@hormonalacnetreatment.org.
What this site does not collect
The “Is it hormonal?” check runs in your browser. We don't ask for your name, email, photo or health details, and we don't store what you tick.
Visit statistics
If you agree in the cookie notice (or, outside the EU, unless you decline), we measure how the page is used: which page you view, the site you came from, how long and how far you read, and which links and buttons you click, together with technical details of your browser and device (such as screen size, language and time zone). These events go to our own address (/api/e) and from there to Amplitude, stored in Amplitude's EU data center. Your IP address is passed on so Amplitude can estimate your country and city. To connect pages within one visit, your browser keeps a random visit number in the tab's session storage, which disappears when you close the tab. We set no cookies for this.
The link to acne.today
Buttons such as “Start my analysis” go through our own address /go/analysis to acne.today, a separate paid face-analysis service. The link tells acne.today that you came from this site and, where relevant, which result the check showed. Anything you do on acne.today, including the face scan and payment, falls under acne.today's own privacy policy.
Legal bases
- Visit statistics for EU visitors: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Visit statistics elsewhere, security and running the website: our legitimate interest.
- Answering your questions by email: performing the service you ask for.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie choice” at the bottom of the home page.
Retention
Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Statistics events are kept by Amplitude for as long as we need them to improve the site. Email is kept as long as needed to handle your question, at most two years.
Sharing
We share data only with Amplitude for statistics and with our hosting provider, as far as needed. We don't sell data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object. Send your request to privacy@hormonalacnetreatment.org; we reply within four weeks. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local authority.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest change.
